We were so excited to hear Waterwaze opened in Lakewood!!!!!!  We were the first to sign up and are so happy we did!!  Tuesday night is our sons favorite night of the week and ours too as we watch him turn into a swimming pro!!  Thank you Zahava and Avigayil!!! I would like to take a moment to express my utmost appreciation for the amazingly incredible  work Zahava does! I have two grandchildren who have both taken swimming lessons with her  this summer and with both I had the same experience- a transformation that was magnificent to see, that went way beyond the pool itself.
My 10 year old granddaughter  is very  ADD and the idea of swimming in  deep waters    caused her a lot of anxieties.  Her demeanor in the water was aggressive,  with splashing and flailing and at times unpleasant.
Zahava, with her warm , soft  , loving , yet firm attitude, was able to reassure her, calm and help her brave the waters. She very calmly and professionally  explained every step,answered all her questions, validating her,  teaching her the tools to achieve  goals  ,  boosting her confidence and implementing the skills she taught her in the pool  into real life situations, all the while making it fun and giving her the best time!
Today she is a completely transformed swimmer and child!  Once fearing the deep waters she now jumps off the diving board, swims in the pool like a fish, picks  up objects from the bottom of the pool, all with confidence and a feeling of safety which Zahava instilled in her. She loves every minute she spends in the  water and  looks forward to every upcoming lesson with great excitement.
I can confidently say that I can see a great improvement in her day to day behavior as well. My appreciation to Zahava knows no bounds. To instill such confidence in an adolescent is to give her skills that can help her conquer the world! She is so much braver and stronger  now and that means the world to me!
These swimming lessons have been so amazing to witness!! Watching Zahava and the  process has been extremely therapeutic for me, the accompanying  adult, as well. I can’t  recommend  WaterWaze  Swim Academy enough! !
Zahava offers a once in a lifetime experience you won’t want your child to miss out on! Thank you again Zahava from the bottom of my heart!

My toddler son went from being afraid to look at pool, to being able to swim within 6 months. The instructors at Waterwaze are noticeably educated in all things related swimming instruction. I loved the close location to Pomona, NY and the ease of scheduling with instructor. Zehava is truly amazing!!! Her expertise and amazing personality can help anyone swim! As a mother of a child with with disabilities I can attest that Zehava removed her fears and gave her the skills and confidence to swim like a fish!!!

Waterwaze is the absolute best place to teach your children swimming. They are the most knowledgeable and well trained to teach very young children. The instructors are super well trained and are amazing with children, knowing how to keep them engaged  and learning. Within a few lessons Zahava had my 1 year old putting her face in the water and swimming. Both of my girls began lessons at 1 years old, were independently swimming at 2 and were deep water swimmers by age 3, diving down to 6 feet in the pool. This was all done with a few lessons, not many lessons were needed to get them to the point of independently swimming. My children loved the lessons, they didn't want to leave the water. About 10 years ago, my son (around age 6) was petrified of the water! He would not put his face in or his head under! Zahava gave him lessons with such patience and understanding, coupled with humor and love, that 10 years later, this water-terrified son of mine has now become a lifeguard himself! Zahava is the most incredible swim instructer. She taught my three children including my infant!!!! My husband who was not at all a deep water swimmer signed up and can now swim beautifully in the deep!!!! I love watching Zahava teach; her knowledge of swim skills and approach toward children is just incredible! She can really connect to each child individually.
